Equestrian 25
Autumn Scavenger Hunt
Find and photograph or video 25 of 55 autumn challenge prompts with your horse - at your yard, on a hack, or wherever your horse life takes you. All abilities, all disciplines, no riding required.
An autumn scavenger hunt with your horse
Never done a scavenger hunt challenge before? Here's exactly how it works.
When you register, we email you a list of 55 challenge prompts. Each prompt is something to find and then photograph or film with your horse. Your goal is to complete any 25 of the 55 prompts - whichever ones appeal to you, in whatever order you like, at your own pace.
You can complete them on horseback, while leading your horse, from the back of a carriage, or while ground driving. There is no wrong way.
Your photos and videos are entirely yours to keep - private memories you do not need to share with us. We run on the honour system. Once you've found and photographed a prompt, simply tick it off your list. When you've completed 25, send us your list and we'll post your rosette.
That's it. That's the whole challenge.
- ✓ A conker or acorn found on a ride or at the yard, with your horse in frame
- ✓ Find something whose colour matches your horse, with your horse in frame
- ✓ The first sign of autumn colour on a tree, just a hint of gold or red, with your horse in frame
- ✓ Make a simple obstacle course using things already available around the yard and photograph or video your horse completing part of it
- ✓ Find something smooth, something rough, and something fluffy, all in one frame with your horse
- ✓ Round hay bales or straw bales in a field with your horse in the same frame
- ✓ A photo that sums up your horse's personality, no rules, just capture them
- ✓ Your horse wearing a Halloween costume, it can be as simple as one item or as elaborate as you like, with your horse in frame
- ✓ Your horse mid-neigh, catch it if you can
- ✓ Let your horse go apple bobbing and capture the moment
...and 45 more autumn prompts when you register!
