The short version: We collect only the information we need to run our challenges. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties beyond what is needed to process your payment and deliver your challenge materials. Your registration fee is per individual challenge — not a subscription.
1. Who We Are
The Equestrian 25 Challenges is an equestrian challenge business operated by FMD Holdings, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We run structured at-home challenges for horse owners, riders, drivers, and handlers across the United Kingdom.
FMD Holdings, LLC is a United States-based company. While we are incorporated in the US, all of our challenges are operated exclusively for UK participants and we are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

2. What Information We Collect
When you register for one of our challenges, we collect the following information:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your postal address (for rosette delivery on challenge completion)
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
We may also collect information you voluntarily provide when you contact us by email, through our website contact form, or via Facebook message — for example, if you have a query about your registration or challenge progress.
If you choose to share photographs or testimonials with us for use on our website or social media, we will only do so with your explicit permission. You are never required to share photographs with us as part of any challenge.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To process your challenge registration and payment
- To email you your challenge materials on registration
- To send you challenge-related communications during the challenge period — including start reminders, check-in emails, and submission deadline reminders
- To verify your completed challenge log on submission
- To post your finisher rosette to your provided address on completion
- To respond to any queries or support requests you send us
- To send you information about future challenges — you can opt out of this at any time
Important — per-challenge registration: Your registration fee covers one individual challenge only. Each challenge we run requires a separate registration. Registering for one challenge does not automatically register you for future challenges, nor does it constitute a subscription of any kind. You will never be charged again without completing a new registration.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal grounds under UK GDPR:
- Contract: Processing your registration and delivering your challenge materials and rosette is necessary to fulfil the contract between us.
- Legitimate interests: Sending challenge-related communications and responding to your queries.
- Consent: Sending you information about future challenges. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us or clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email.
5. Third Parties We Work With
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate our business. Each has their own privacy policy which we encourage you to review:
GoHighLevel (GHL)
Our website, registration forms, and email communications are hosted and managed through GoHighLevel. Your registration data is stored within their platform. View GoHighLevel's Privacy Policy.
Stripe
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards. View Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Meta (Facebook)
We have a Facebook page at facebook.com/Equestrian25Challenge. If you interact with us on Facebook, your data is also subject to Meta's privacy policy. We do not control how Meta handles data collected through their platform. View Meta's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
International Data Transfers
As FMD Holdings, LLC is based in the United States, and as our third-party processors (GoHighLevel and Stripe) operate infrastructure outside the United Kingdom, your personal data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside the UK. Where this occurs, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR, including reliance on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms where applicable. By registering for one of our challenges, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in this way.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, including:
- For the duration of the challenge you registered for, plus a reasonable period thereafter to handle any queries or rosette delivery issues
- For as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list for future challenge information
- For as long as required by law for financial and tax record-keeping purposes
You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- The right to access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- The right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- The right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances
- The right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data
- The right to object — you can object to us processing your data for marketing purposes at any time
- The right to data portability — you can request your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies
Our website may use cookies to ensure it functions correctly and to improve your experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We do not use cookies for advertising tracking purposes beyond what is set by the third-party platforms listed in Section 5.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
9. Photographs and User Content
Our challenges operate on an honour system. You are never required to submit photographs to us as part of any challenge. Your photos and videos are your own private memories.
If you choose to share photographs with us — via email, Facebook, or any other means — you grant us permission to use those photographs on our website, social media pages, and marketing materials. We will always use initials rather than full names when attributing photographs, and we will never share photographs of children without explicit parental consent.
If you would like a photograph removed that you have previously shared with us, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
10. Children
Our challenges are open to participants of all ages. Where a participant is under the age of 18, we ask that a parent or guardian registers on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
