Rules & FAQ – Equestrian 25 Spring Scavenger Hunt

Challenge Rules

The rules are simple - this challenge is built on trust, inclusivity, and fun. Please read through before you begin.

  • 1
Registration required. You must register and pay the £20 entry fee before taking part. Once registered, your list of 55 challenge prompts will be emailed to you instantly.
  • 2
Complete any 25 of the 55 prompts. You choose which 25 you'd like to complete in any order, at any time during the challenge period of 15th April to 15th June 2026.
  • 3
Each prompt must be photographed or filmed. Take a photo or video as evidence for yourself but your pictures are for you and do not need to be shared with us. We run entirely on the honour system.
  • 4
Your horse must be present. Each prompt should include your horse whether you're on horseback, leading, driving, or ground driving alongside them.
  • 5
Multiple horses are welcome. If you have more than one horse, you may complete prompts with different horses.
  • 6
All disciplines count equally. Riding, driving, carriage driving, groundwork, in-hand work, and ground driving all count. There is no hierarchy - if it's your horse time, it counts.
  • 7
Submit your log by 1st July 2026. Once you've completed your 25 prompts, submit your checklist via the Submit Your Log page at any time. Simply let us know which 25 prompts you completed - in whatever format works best for you (typed list, our official checklist, picture of handwritten note).
  • 8
One rosette per participant. Each registered participant receives one finisher rosette upon verified completion, regardless of how many horses they used.
  • 9
Safety first, always. Please ensure all activities are carried out safely and responsibly. We trust our participants to use good judgement around their horses and surroundings.
  • 10
Have fun. This challenge is about slowing down, noticing the world around you and your horse and celebrating the small moments. Enjoy it.
